Starter privacy text for the demonstration build. Review it against your actual hosting, email and analytics setup before launch.
Information stored
The website stores account details, an optional private collection location, item listings, expressions of interest, selection history, collection availability, booked appointment times, private collection messages, feedback, notifications and reports.
Public information
Display names, usernames, general location areas, listings, interest names and verified feedback may be visible publicly. A saved full collection location is not shown publicly and is shared only when the owner sends it to the currently selected recipient.
Private messages
Collection messages are limited to the item owner and selected recipient, though administrators may need controlled access when investigating a report.
Retention
Keep personal data only as long as needed for the service, safety, dispute handling and legal obligations.
